Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
Subject introduces in problem of social pathology and chosen social pathological effects, which teachers can get in touch most often with. Attention is paid especially in anticipation of creating undesirable effects, students recognise chosen activities of primary prevention programs (e.g. peer programs). Lessons will be realized also in cooperation with subjects giving primary (secondary) prevention in the field of creation social pathological effects by visiting facilities and by discussion with specialists working in them.
Course content:
Theory of social deviation, definition of social pathology (allowance 1/2)
Social pathological effects and their control (allowance 1/2)
3.Truancy as a specific effect in school environment (allowance 1/2)
4.Agression and chicane among children (allowance 1/2)
Drugs as an actual threat in human life. Analysis, prevention, rehabilitation (allowance 1/2)
Crime and delinquency as a serious form of social pathology (allowance 1/2)
Teacher and his/her competences in social pathology (allowance 1/2)
Prevention in schools, Minimal prevention program, function of participants (allowance 1/2)

Assessment methods:
Processing and presenting individual tasks. Task content: Students present one subject of prevention.
Analysis of Minimal prevention program of concrete school according to defined standards. Task control is directed in both content and formal side of the paper, it comprises review of comprehensionability of presentating chosen task for a student group.
